Alison is an experienced administrator who has worked at Anglia Ruskin University for over 9 Years, ensuring that all of her students enjoy their time and progress smoothly from Induction through to graduation.

With over 23 years experience within the Administrative Sector, Alison has gained excellent secretarial and administrative skills including use of all Microsoft Office 2013 Applications. She possesses the ability to multi-task, a good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

On 11 November 2013 Alison was nominated and supported for an Anglia Ruskin University Deans Award for her exceptional work on Grademark (a new online Marking system piloted within her Faculty). The Dean’s Awards are a yearly event acknowledging outstanding work expected of an employee in their particular role and contributions to the Faculty.

On 31 August 2014 Alison was appointed as Faculty of Medical Science Board Member, through an election process, for a period of two years, until 31 August 2014.

Alison was  delighted to hear on 28 August 2014 that she'd been nominated for a WOW! Award. The WOW! Awards are the UK’s only national award scheme which relies purely on customer nominations to recognise good service provided by an individual or a team.

Alison also worked as a graduation usher in 2014, helping the ceremonies run smoothly and ensuring guests enjoy their day.

Alison is also a qualified member of the Faculty of Medical Science Fire Marshalls Team. Assisting in the evacuation of Staff, Students and visitors from the Post Graduate Medical Institute.
