Cheryl Greyson is a part-time Lecturer in Marketing, specialising in digital marketing and marketing research. She is also a Chartered Marketer running a small marketing consultancy in Cambridgeshire.
After working in media research for IPC, The Economist and Forbes in global marketing roles, Cheryl began teaching professional marketing qualifications to senior managers of blue chip companies in London and virtually in Africa. She managed and trained teams of tutors, bringing in a major syllabus change and introducing SEN support for dyslexic students.
With over 20 years marketing experience, Cheryl has also run her own marketing consultancy for 8+ years specialising in delivering marketing and digital consultancy, corporate training and multi-stage qualitative, quantitative and observation research to SMEs. She is an Examiner for the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market & Social Research.
Cheryl is interested in exploring creative and arts based methodologies for researching young children aged 4-11, and how brand preference and relationships develop online.
Predominantly teaching at postgraduate level, Cheryl focuses on her main specialist areas of digital marketing and marketing research as well as general marketing courses. She has a specialist interest and experience in tutoring dyslexic students, using student-centered learning techniques, incorporating social media for learning into classwork and assessments, designing engaging classroom resources and incorporating real-life marketing examples and practice into all of her teaching.
