Peter is responsible for the BSc Business Economics degree programme and teaches various economics modules. He researches public economics and the organisation of the public sector.

Background

Prior to joining the Lord Ashcroft International Business School, Peter worked at the Manchester Business School on a project investigating the development of public private partnerships in transport throughout the European Union. He then completed a PhD on the economics of military outsourcing at the University of York.

Peter's primary interests are the boundaries between public and private provision of public services and comparisons between public, private and hybrid delivery of public services. He is also interested in labour economics, industrial organisation, public procurement and the economics of defence.
