Beatriz Acevedo is an artist-academic, passionate about education for sustainable development and action learning. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Beatriz is a member of Go Green.
As an artist-academic Beatriz aims at bridging and developing art-based methodologies in teaching and business development. She has also worked as an academic consultant in different areas such as public sector management, public policies, international drugs policy, gender and sustainable development. Currently she is developing some ideas on distance learning and education for sustainability, including some art-based methodologies.
Beatriz's research concerns the area of education for sustainability in management studies, including aspects of action learning, art-based methodologies and business ethics.
Beatriz is passionate about education for sustainability and a great advocate of using art-based methodologies in her teaching. She has taught a number of module during the last few years, currently she teaches:
