The title of Samer's thesis is 'Fostering values in the mechanism of leading the organisation in Arab countries'.
The study applies narrative inquiry of CEOs, senior managers, and employees in two organisations in Jordan. It aims to explore the role of people’s personal values in the way they think, feel, and act in the work place. More importantly, the aim is to investigate the impact of people’s personal values in the mechanisms of leadership. Constructing meanings from people’s stories in how they perceive their personal values in the workplace, and how values can be fostered in the way we lead ourselves, teams, and organisations. Values and leadership studies are linked together to be considered in national and international businesses and organisations.
