The title of his thesis is 'Ethnic Minority Businesses (EMBs) financing in the UK.'
Ethnic minority businesses are one of the key contributors to the UK economy. The UK has about 310,000 ethnic minority SMEs, contributing an estimated £20 billion to the UK economy annually. Access to finance for these highly valued enterprises has been greater cause of concern to policy makers, limitation for EMBs growth and deterring minority entrepreneurs to convert their business ideas into practice. I am undertaking this research to identify some of the key issues that ethnic minority entrepreneurs are facing to access the finance they need to start and sustain their ventures.
