Writtle University College and ARU have merged. Writtle’s full range of college, degree, postgraduate and short courses will still be delivered on the Writtle campus. See our guide to finding Writtle information on this site.

Course fees

We're delighted that you'll be studying an English language course at ARU. This page tells you more about how to pay course deposits and fees.

After you apply, we will make you a conditional offer. Once you pay a deposit, or your fees in full, the offer will become unconditional - and you can start planning your travel to the UK if you are studying on a face-to-face course.

Visit our course pages to find the fees for your course:

If you are a participant on of one of our Special Courses for Groups, your course fees will normally be paid to the person organising the course with ARU.

Our English language support service for ARU students - English Language Fix - is free of charge.

Information on costs and payment for the English Language Proficiency Test are on our ELPT webpage.

Deposits

If you're applying for a Pre-sessional English course (including Pre-sessional English for progression to ARU College) you'll need to pay a deposit before we can make your offer unconditional, and issue your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number. Your CAS number lets you apply for a student visa.

How to pay your course fees

There are several ways to pay course fees. We recommend using Anglia Ruskin's secure web payment site.

If you have any questions about paying your fees, contact our International Office: [email protected].
