Veterans Research Hub

We're proud to be hosting the Veterans Research Hub, launched at Anglia Ruskin University in 2015. The need for a research hub to improve understanding of veterans and families was first identified in 2014 by the Forces in Mind Trust (FIMT) and Lord Ashcroft, the Prime Minister's Special Representative for Veterans’ Transition.

The Veterans Research Hub project was initiated by FiMT, Lord Ashcroft and ARU to:

"Provide an accessible, contemporary and authoritative repository of UK and international research-related resources and literature on military veterans and their families, including transitions to civilian lives, that informs and stimulates research, policy development, improved service delivery and journalistic enquiry."

Work on the project began in autumn 2015, hosted within the Veterans & Families Institute (VFI), and will run to autumn 2017, by which time the Hub itself will be established.
