We'll be holding a Step up to Social Work information session on 26 November 2016 in Cambridge.

The information session is a chance to find out more about the application process and the course and meet some of our tutors and students. It runs from 10.30am-1pm at Anglia Ruskin University, Young Street Site, Cambridge CB1 2LZ (behind Mackays and the Court).

Step Up to Social Work is a 14-month postgraduate, intensive and full-time training programme which will start in January 2018 and run in partnership between Anglia Ruskin University and the following local authorities:

  • Cambridgeshire County Council
  • Suffolk County Council
  • Norfolk County Council
  • Southend
  • Thurrock
  • Peterborough City Council.

If you would like to attend please email AruStepUp@anglia.ac.uk with your full name, telephone number and preferred local authority and we will send you further information.

Interested in social work? Visit us at our open day or talk to a tutor.

The aim of social work is to provide and manage care, support and protection to individuals, families, groups and communities so that they can participate and develop in society. We hold drop-in sessions where you can find out more about all our social work courses. Whether you are looking to study a BA programme full-time or part-time or if you already hold a degree and are interested in our MA course.

We have no other dates for taster days at the moment but we would love to meet you at one of our open days. Alternatively, if you have specific queries and want to email us we will make sure that you get a chance to talk to a tutor. Don't forget to let us know what campus you are interested in.
