  • Acute nursing

Mary is studying towards a PhD. Her research involves collecting narratives from service users and nurses to understand about the experience of Primary Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PPCI). Recently she was involved in evaluating the impact of CPD in the East of England: collecting the experiences of qualified and non-qualified nurses. Other research projects include the evaluation of the impact of a post-registration cardiac module from the perspectives of nurses and managers and gathering the experiences of patients who have had an acute myocardial infarction.
