Larry had over 20 years of NHS experience and recently joined Anglia Ruskin University. Larry’s specialty is in Older People Mental Health. Experience includes direct patient care, clinical management, service design and re-design, working with commissioners, training and education in higher education.
Larry worked in the NHS between 1990 and 2011. Larry built his NHS experience across hospital based in-patient services and community based services for Older Adults with mental health problems. With the ever changing care provision in the NHS, Larry participated in various innovative service design and re-design programmes in order to deliver best possible and modernised care to local communities. During the NHS period, Larry’s services was consistently rated as ‘Very Good’ by the then ‘Mental Health Commissioner’s Inspection Report’.
Larry joined Anglia Ruskin University in 2012. Larry currently is the lead lecturer for Dementia Care Education & Training within the Faculty. Larry designed a new Dementia Care Curriculum which is in accordance with current National Dementia Training Mandate as suggested by Health Education England. The new curriculum aims to provide clinical /care staff with an up-to-date and evidence-based knowledge which will effectively enhance the standard of care to People-with-dementia and their carers. Larry’s Dementia Modules and Workshops consistently receive positive comment and are rated as ‘very good & excellent’ by delegates from various independent and public organisations.

Lead Lecturer for Dementia Training and Curriculum. Accredited Dementia Modules- Level 6 and Level 7. Bespoke Dementia workshops for Independent and Public Sector Workforce.
