Background

Grahame Douglas is primarily working as a registered nurse in clinical practice within the area of oncology nursing, in a variety of roles, supporting patients receiving treatment and follow up support for cancer therapies. He's working with nursing students primarily as course leader and personal tutor within the university and placement setting.

Research interests

  • Educational support for pre registration student nurses undertaking studies.
  • Impact of global demographic changes on nurse education.

Areas of research supervision

Supervision of a range of students undertaking degree and masters courses.

Teaching

Pre-registration nursing studies course including working closely with tutor groups and individual students undertaking the course and all aspects of studies required.
