Congratulations Class of 2017 - all you need to know about your big day
Our award ceremonies are a major highlight of the academic year, and a fantastic opportunity for you to celebrate your hard work and academic achievement with your family and friends.
These pages will be updated regularly to help you best prepare for your graduation day. You will find details about how to register to attend, purchasing guest tickets, and arrangements for gown hire and photographs - so please keep checking back.
Early July - Make sure all of your contact details are up to date via your e:Vision account, including your home address, as we will send out information about booking your graduation ceremony in mid-July. Keep checking your student email account, as we will also be sending you information via email.
Friday 14 July - To avoid any delay with booking your graduation ceremony, please make sure all your debts with us are settled by this date.
W/C 17 July - Keep an eye out for your invitation post card and email (which will be sent to your student email) as this will be sent out this week.
Monday 24 July - The Graduation tile will appear on your e:Vision account and the booking process opens. If you have any issues accessing e:Vision, please visit the contact us page. On the Graduation tile, you are able to confirm your attendance (free of charge) and have the opportunity to purchase up to three guest tickets during this period (priced at £25 per guest ticket). We advise you book early to avoid disappointment.
Booking also opens for gown hire on this day. Your entire gown package can be ordered via Ede & Ravenscroft. Please note that orders placed less than 21 days before your ceremony cannot be guaranteed.
Tuesday 5 September - Booking closes, so please don't miss out. If you have not confirmed your attendance by this date, we'll assume you do not wish to attend. Your guest allocation will also be made available to students who are attending.
Thursday 7 September. Bookings for extra guest tickets open via e:Vision. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we'll have additional guest tickets available for every ceremony. Any extra tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please note that we are unable to keep a waiting list for guest tickets or consider any exceptional circumstance.
Prior to your ceremony - Be sure to have a look through these webpages, including the checklist and travel information to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible. Don't forget to check out our merchandise page as some items can be purchased in advance and collected on the day. Whilst we do not present award certificates during the graduation ceremony if your award is confirmed at an awards board in July or September 2017 you maybe able to collect your certificate from a designated collection point on your graduation day, please see the certificate page for more information.
