Background

Untitled Page

Felicity is responsible for facilitating research and looking after the team in the GSI. With a strong administrative and organisational background, it is her job to ensure that the vision of the Director and the strategy for the institute is translated and communicated down and across all the students, staff, partners and external organisations we work with, and also to the wider public through the research seminar series, social media and community engagement activities.

Felicity is passionate about sustainability, so loves combining her career with an area of great personal interest. Felicity tries to balance ethical, environmental and economic considerations into all aspects of her lifestyle; from food to fashion, health to holidays, energy suppliers to exercise equipment, and everything in between. Her dissertation for an MA in Conflict, Governance and Development focused on the imperative for environmental recovery in post-war reconstruction, and the relationship between people and the natural environment is of continuing fascination to her.

Felicity is also the Faculty of Science & Technology’s ‘Green Guru’ for the Cambridge Campus, to support the work of the University’s Environment Team. Feel free to talk to Felicity about any aspect of sustainability, our research projects, postgraduate courses or opportunities for collaboration – we love to get involved!
