Dr Eunice Goes, Associate Professor of Politics at Richmond University, will discuss “The Labour Party Under Ed Miliband and the Elusive ‘Social Democratic Moment’”. Dr Goes is the author of The Labour Party under Ed Miliband: Trying but Failing to Renew Social Democracy, which will be published by Manchester University Press next month, and is also a political journalist. This lecture will reflect on the reasons for Labour’s failure in 2015 and what can be learned from this.
The talk is part of the public lecture in New Political Landscape series organised by Labour History Research Unit, Anglia Ruskin University.
