Screening of the film The Model Conversation, produced by Cambridgeshire Alliance for Independent Living. They have been asking people with disabilities and their carers what can be done to achieve independent living now and in the future. In the film they explore what circumstances were like for people with disabilities in the recent past and how things have changed up until the present, and so therefore explore what changes need to be made to improve things even more in the future. To find out more, visit the Cambridgeshire Alliance website.

The screening will be followed by discussion and presentation of a new project, ‘Voices4Choices’, which aims to give people with disabilities information about how they can manage and control the care and support they receive.

The event is organised by Cambridgeshire Alliance for Independent Living, an organisation run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities, their families and carers who live in Cambridgeshire.
