Science and cereal packets/sweets

Where do our eyes glance when choosing drinks and food products? Have a go at wearing a pair of eye tracking glasses and make a selection of cereal packets, soft drinks and sweets, from a mock-up of a supermarket shelf.

RehabGame – rehabilitation therapy through game

Have a go at our RehabGame which uses an interface between Kinect Xbox One and Myo armband devices connected to a games engine. Through movement the system provides real-time feedback to help people affected by neurological injury with motor recovery.

Meet our sport scientists and test your fitness

Compete against the clock and undertake a trial used by high-performance sailors, compare your scores with Olympic level athletes. Have a go at a bike test and get an estimate of your maximal oxygen uptake (for teenagers and adults only). Using spirometry you can get a measurement of your resting lung functions and forced vital capacity.
