In addition to leading on internal student enterprise initiatives, CEDAR has also established the Enterprise Fellowship Scheme, an innovative programme for regional entrepreneurs looking to start or accelerate the development of their own business.
The scheme, launched in 2011, has allocated a total of £120,000 (donated by successful entrepreneurs) in start-up funding to twelve early stage ventures in the Cambridgeshire area.
Apart from providing seed funding, CEDAR has remained heavily involved with each venture, providing regular business mentoring through our entrepreneurs-in-residence network and, where possible, bringing the Enterprise Fellows into the classroom to pass on their knowledge and experience to undergraduate students.
