In April 2017, all employers with a payroll of over £3 million will automatically pay a levy of 0.5% - this is known as the Apprenticeship Levy. However, employers will be able to recoup this Levy by investing in Apprenticeships. In addition, there is further funding available from the Government to support employers with the costs of apprenticeships, irrespective of the size of the organisation. So, by engaging with apprenticeships, employers of all sizes will be able to get more out than they put in.
