Hiya! My name's Sadiq, and I’m a first year Adult Nurse. I began my course in March this year and I hope to complete my theory in the next 2 months. I’m originally from Middlesbrough (you will tell by my accent). I decided to do nursing because I like to look after people and make them comfortable. 

Why ARU? During university selection I wasn't sure which place to head for. However, I came for my literacy and numeracy test and I fell in love with the place. The senior lecturer made me comfortable (something I like to do for people) and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. 

In my spare time I like to play judo as a university sport and hang out with my friends. On weekends we like to go out and party especially Saturday because that is when it is the busiest. When we’re not partying we are studying and vice versa!
