Directions from A603 South-West (Sandy)

As you approach Cambridge on the A603, you'll come to a junction with the M11 - go straight on, taking the 2nd exit off the roundabout, following signs for Cambridge.

Once over the M11 you'll come to another roundabout junction - again go straight on, taking the 2nd exit off the roundabout, following signs for Cambridge. Follow this road (Barton Road) for about a mile and a half. After the Red Bull pub on your right, you'll come to a traffic-light junction where the road bears round sharply to the left. Soon after you'll come to a roundabout, with a Shell petrol station on the left. Turn right here (2nd exit). At the top of this road (Fen Causeway) prepare for two mini-roundabouts in quick succession. Turn left at the first and then immediately get in the right-hand lane and turn right at the next mini-roundabout. This is Lensfield Road. You'll pass the Snug bar on your right and the Lensfield Hotel. At the traffic-light crossroads ahead get in the left-hand lane and go straight over (Gonville Place).

Follow either of the car park directions below. (Queen Anne Terrace Car Park is the first you'll come to and nearer to the theatre).

For the Grafton (East) Car Park:

As you come off the roundabout there are two lanes of traffic - get in the right hand lane and enter the slip lane for the Grafton (East) Car Park, turning right at the traffic-lights. Once parked, turn right coming out of the car park and continue walking down East Road, passing the British Heart Foundation charity shop. Continue walking along East Road, passing a parade of shops on your right (including Tesco Express) until you come to the pedestrian crossing opposite Anglia Ruskin University. Cross the road and enter the university through the main entrance at the bottom of the steps ahead. Walk down the corridor towards the University Library and look for the entrance on the right into the Mumford Theatre.

For the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park:

As you come off the roundabout there are two lanes of traffic (either lane is fine). You will see the Vue Cinema and Grafton Shopping Centre on your right. At the pedestrian crossing the traffic merges to a single lane.

Go over the crossing, passing Tesco Express on your right and then Anglia Ruskin campus on your left and the Zion Baptist Church. At the traffic-light crossroads ahead, carry straight on passing the Parkside Swimming pool on your left. Almost immediately take the slip road to your left - the entrance to the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park.
Once parked, turn right coming out of the car park onto Gonville Place and pass Parkside Swimming Pool. At the crossroads continue straight on. Almost immediately pass through a gap in the railing fence on your right - this path takes your diagonally across Petersfield, a small park area. At the other side of the park, the path leads you into a small side street. From here you can see the Bradmore Street entrance into Anglia Ruskin University directly ahead. Once inside turn right, walk down the corridor towards the University Library and look for the entrance on the right into the Mumford Theatre.
