Directions from A1307 South-East (Haverhill, Chelmsford)

After crossing the A11, continue following the A1307 into Cambridge. Going uphill you'll pass three turnings - for Babraham, Wandlebury and Stapleford. You'll then come downhill to a roundabout - go straight over (2nd exit). About a mile further on you'll come to a roundabout outside Addenbrooke's Hospital. Carry straight on (2nd exit). You are now on Hills Road. At the traffic-light crossroads ahead, get in the right-hand lane and go straight on. You'll pass the Perse School on your left and a little further on Homerton College. At the next junction with traffic-lights, go straight on  - you'll see Travelodge on your right as you over the railway bridge. Get in the right hand lane as you approach the traffic lights at the other side of the bridge and go straight on. Shortly after you will come to another set of traffic-lights offering a right turn to the station, but keep left and go straight on. Half a mile further, as you approach a set of traffic lights at crossroads, get in the right-hand lane. You will see a big church on the left-hand corner of the junction. Turn right (Gonville Place).

Follow either of the car park directions below. (Queen Anne Terrace Car Park is the first you'll come to and nearer to the theatre).

For the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park:

You'll pass the Gonville Hotel on your right and a large open grass area on your left (Parker's Piece). Go over a pedestrian crossing and after three small traffic islands, look for a central lane for turning right into the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park.  Once parked, turn right coming out of the car park onto Gonville Place and pass Parkside Swimming Pool. At the crossroads continue straight on. Almost immediately pass through a gap in the railing fence on your right - this path takes your diagonally across Petersfield, a small park area. At the other side of the park, the path leads you into a small side street. From here you can see the Bradmore Street entrance into Anglia Ruskin University directly ahead. Once inside turn right, walk down the corridor towards the University Library and look for the entrance on the right into the Mumford Theatre.

For the Grafton (East) Car Park:

You'll pass the Gonville Hotel on your right and a large open grass area on your left (Parker's Piece). You'll then pass Queen Anne Terrace Car Park on your right and as you approach the next traffic-light crossroads ahead, you'll see the swimming pool on your right. Go straight on. You are now on East Road. Almost immediately you will see the Zion Baptist Church on your right. The next building on your right is Anglia Ruskin University. Continue on East Road passing Tesco Express on your left. You'll pass the Vue Cinema and Grafton Centre on your left and as you approach the next traffic lights ahead there is a slip-lane to the left into the Grafton (East) Car Park.

Once parked, turn right coming out of the car park and walk back the way you came, back down East Road, passing the British Heart Foundation charity shop. Continue walking along East Road, passing a parade of shops on your right (including Tesco Express) until you come to the pedestrian crossing opposite Anglia Ruskin University. Cross the road and enter the university through the main entrance at the bottom of the steps ahead. Walk down the corridor towards the University Library and look for the entrance on the right into the Mumford Theatre.
