Cambridge Music Festival present: Piano Circus

Recognised as one of the world’s leading contemporary music ensembles, Piano Circus was formed in 1989 to play the iconic Six Pianos by Steve Reich. They have since commissioned more than a hundred works, single-handedly forging their own unique repertoire and style.

The six members are in their own right soloists, composers, chamber musicians, curators and academics, and as a group are known for thrilling listeners with their emotive and visceral performances, their uncanny ensemble work, rhythmic precision, incisiveness and groove, and their instinctive musical rapport with each other and with their audience.
