Groundbreaking percussionist Joby Burgess returns to Cambridge Music Festival with a programme of rarely-heard works. Three musical worlds meet: the loud, muscular music of Xenakis, Takemitsu’s meditative stillness and Morton Feldman’s ‘anti-percussion’ which is softer still - his fingertips issuing woody, almost weightless sounds ‘like dust in the breeze’. A magical experience.
