Untitled PageLisselot Martin Plaza, a student at the University of Huelva in Spain, has completed eight weeks of work as a researcher at Cambridge University Library as part of Anglia Ruskin's first ever Erasmus + internship.

Lisselot came to Anglia Ruskin in 2014 as an Erasmus exchange student on the BA (Hons) English Literature course. Excited by the opportunities at Anglia Ruskin Lisselot enquired whether she could carry out the employability part of her degree here in the UK rather than in Spain. So, in partnership with Anglia Ruskin's International Office, we created an internship under the new Erasmus + programme for Lisselot to carry out research for English and Media staff at Anglia Ruskin, as well as for her tutors in Huelva.

Lisselot, who plans to carry out postgraduate research after her degree with the aim of becoming a Lecturer in Literature, said that the internship helped her to gain many of the skills that she will need when she becomes a research student, and that it had been "a pleasure as well as an intellectual challenge doing this research."

All the academic staff involved, both at Anglia Ruskin and Huelva, agreed that Lisselot's work on the internship had been outstanding.
