Anglia Ruskin writers published in 'Dramatic Shorts'

BA (Hons) Drama graduate James Quince recently edited together a book of short plays and monologues titled Dramatic Shorts: Volume One. The volume, which includes works by Senior Lecturer in History Sean Lang and BA (Hons) Writing and Film Studies student Lindsey McAuley, is a part of a larger project intended to showcase the creative talents of new playwrights as well as established authors.
James created Dramatic Shorts to address a need he recognised amongst many of his fellow artists. He said: "The idea for this platform pretty much came from the need for more exposure for writers. I've come across many talented writers in my time and they all have one thing in common: the difficulty to get noticed as a writer nowadays."
The first step in an ongoing endeavor, Dramatic Shorts welcomes future collaborations from writers.
