Michaela is an artist and researcher working in the areas of time-based media and fine art. Her practice is interdisciplinary with projects spanning live performance, dance, planetaria and spatial design.
Colour, light and movement are fundamental to Michaela’s practice, which ranges from projected image environments to narrative film, from live performance to fine art exhibition. Her work incorporates moving image, animation, compositing and projection as well as traditional techniques of painting, printmaking, illustration and graphic design.
Michaela is enrolled on the MPhil in Information Experience Design at the Royal College of Art, London. Her current practice and research investigates how light and the experience of wonder can reveal the edges of human understanding.
