Jamie George is a British artist who lives and works in London. He works with sculpture, photography and video.

Background

Jamie George studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths an MFA (Sculpture) at the Slade School of Art and in 2013 he received a PhD from Cambridge School of Art. Jamie has worked on projects and commissions with: Glasgow Sculpture Studios, The Showroom, SPACE Studios and Wysing Arts Centre. He has exhibited with Organhaus Gallery (China), OUTPOST (Norwich), Jerwood Space, Blaine|Southern, Drawing Room and Focal Point Gallery.

In 2012 he was awarded a Gasworks International Fellowship, resident at Vasl Artist-Collective, Pakistan, in 2014 was awarded a Cocheme Fellowship from Central Saint Martins, hosted by AIR Studios, University of the Arts London.
