Alamgir’s past teaching and research experience includes Sheffield University (research fellow); University of Bradford (senior lecturer); Sheffield Hallam University (senior lecturer) and University of Dhaka (Chairman & Associate Professor of the Computer Science & Engineering Department). He also served in the University Lumiere Lyon 2 (visiting professor) and MDIS, Singapore (guest lecturer).
