During 2015-16, Anglia Ruskin was the only UK university to be named in the list of the top 20 worldwide ‘rising stars’ expected to challenge the elite by 2030. This recognised the huge strides we have taken in recent years in research and innovation.
Our students were more satisfied than ever before, according to our National Student Survey results, which showed an overall satisfaction score of 86%.
We continued to develop partnerships that will have an impact regionally, nationally and globally. A unique partnership with police forces across the East of England led to the Policing Institute for the Eastern Region being set up within Anglia Ruskin University, drawing on academic expertise to help keep our communities safe.
We won the Lloyd’s Bank National Business Award for university entrepreneurship, following our THE Entrepreneurial University of the Year award in 2014. Our commitment to ensuring all our students have an entrepreneurial mindset is at the heart of this continued success, as are our partnerships with business.
Next year marks the 25th anniversary of our having been granted university status; a very significant milestone. Our new strategic plan will be launched on 16 June 2017, our 25th birthday.
