The Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) is a national survey of all UK university leavers. It shows details of students' employment and further study six months after leaving university.
University leavers who live in the UK and EU, and received a qualification from universities in the UK, will be asked what they will be doing six months after they complete their studies.
We have to, as all universities are legally required to provide the results of the survey. But we also want to. The results of the survey are useful to us when reviewing courses and developing our services; and they’re useful for you, as you can see how well students do after completing specific courses.
We ask anyone who has recently completed a course with us at Anglia Ruskin University to take part in the survey. The DLHE survey covers all full time and part time courses and qualifications from HNC level.
We have to ask everyone the same questions, even if they are studying for a postgraduate degree or are working at Anglia Ruskin.
By completing the survey you’ll be helping would-be students to make choices about which university to attend and which course to study.
At the end of the survey, every higher education institution in the UK sends encrypted information from the forms to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). You can find out more about how HESA use the data on their website.
You’ll receive an email with a unique link so you can complete the survey online, but if we haven’t had a response from you by early January, we’ll try to contact you by phone in the evenings and at the weekend.
While we encourage you to complete the survey, you are not obliged to. Let us know if you don't want to participate and we’ll stop contacting you.
If you are having any issues completing the survey, or think you may be eligible to take part in this year’s survey but have not received an email link please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
